Chris is now booking house concerts as part of her efforts to raise money for costs associated with her new upcoming CD. If you book now (before May 15th, 2009) you will be honoured on the liner notes of the CD as a 'WELL-HEELED PARTNER'.

A house concert is a great way to hear live music, meet the artist and have an enjoyable get together with friends - new and old. It can be a simple affair - you invite 15 or so friends for an evening with live entertainment. Ticket price averages $15. Some people have a pot-luck dinner just before the show begins. Others provide their audience with snacks, wine, juices... if so, you should increase the ticket price if you want yourself and the musician to be well reimbursed. Lots of established house concert venues advertise and grow an audience from the local community... not necessarily friends that they already know. It's probably a good idea to start small and keep it simple until you have some experience.
